Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 10:00 AM AST 12 December 2025 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. AST today low 976 mb located northeast of Anticosti
Island.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing low 968 mb located over
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:54 AM AST 12 December 2025 A low pressure system northeast of Anticosti Island will move to lie
over the Labrador Sea this evening. Gale to storm force west to
northwest winds will slowly diminish as the low moves northeastward.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters.

Additionally, freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand
Manan, Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou, and
Anticosti.
