By 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday ridge located over the central Marine

At 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday approaching low 1006 mb located near
Long Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:25 PM AST 8 November 2025 A low pressure system near Anticosti will continue to track eastwardpushing a trough across the marine district tonight. Strong to gale
force south to southwest winds ahead of the trough will shift to
strong northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable - western
half, Fourchu, East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan.
Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.
Lfa 36 Sunday..Winds northwest 15 knots diminishing to light in the
morning. Winds increasing to east 15 knots in the evening. Seas less
than 1 metre.
