By 3:30 p.m. NDT Thursday trough located on a line north-south
over the Maritimes.
At 3:30 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:12 PM NDT 22 July 2026 A trough of low pressure oriented east-west over the Gulf of St.Lawrence will continue moving northeastward tonight to lie over the
South Labrador Sea by Thursday morning. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies ahead of the trough will diminish to moderate to
strong southwesterlies in its wake tonight.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Gulf-Port au Port.
