Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the East Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located on a line east-west over
the southern Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located over western Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:22 PM NDT 17 June 2024 A trough of low pressure over Quebec will move to lie over the
Labrador Sea on Tuesday. Meanwhile a ridge of high pressure will
continue to build over eastern waters tonight. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies are expected between these features on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle.
