Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:18 PM NST 28 November 2022 An intensifying low pressure system located southwest of Newfoundland
will track northeastwards across Southern Newfoundland tonight to lie
over Funk Island Bank by Tuesday morning. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies to southwesterlies ahead of the low will shift to
strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk
Island Bank, and the Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, and
Belle Isle Bank.
