northeast-southwest over Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:43 PM NDT 27 April 2024 A ridge of high pressure will remain nearly stationary overNewfoundland as a trough of low pressure slowly approaches the island
from the Grand Banks. Strong to gale force northeasterlies will
spread between these two features tonight.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, and the Grand
Banks.
