northeastern Funk Island Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today building ridge located over Labrador.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Saturday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:25 PM NDT 12 June 2026 An area of low pressure over Funk Island Bank will remain nearly
stationary today before eventually moving east of the marine district
on Saturday. Gale force northerlies to westerlies will develop around
the low this evening, diminishing by Saturday morning as the low
tracks eastward.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.
