the southern Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today dissipating trough located south of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today building ridge located over Cape Breton
Island.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday trough located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:02 AM NDT 5 August 2020 At 3:00 AM NDT, post-tropical storm Isaias was located near 46.4
north and 72.1 west, about 89 nautical miles northeast of Montréal.
Isaias had a minimum pressure of 1000 MB and maximum sustained winds
of 40 knots. Isaias is currently moving north-northeastward at 27
knots, and is expected to weaken as it approaches Labrador from the
southwest tonight.

Isaias is currently not expected to have significant impact on
Newfoundland waters.
