over the Quebec Lower North Shore.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:57 AM NST 12 December 2025 A deepening low pressure system over Belle Isle Bank will continue totrack northeastwards today. A trailing trough will follow behind the
low, crossing Newfoundland on Saturday. Strong to gale force west to
southwesterlies can be expected today and Saturday across most waters
due to these features.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle and the Gulf waters.
