Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:46 AM NST 2 December 2023 A trough of low pressure over the Belle Isle Bank will move to lieeast of the marine district this afternoon. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies in its wake will diminish this morning.
A second trough of low pressure located near Maine will track
eastward to reach the Southern Grand Banks tonight. Strong to gale
force southwesterlies will develop over southern waters as it
approaches.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and Southeastern Grand Banks.
