east-west over Funk Island Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 994 mb located over Labrador.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Saturday low 983 mb located over southern
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:49 AM NDT 18 July 2025 A low pressure system over Labrador will move to lie over the
Labrador Sea by Saturday morning. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies will develop over northern waters ahead of the low
then shift to westerlies to southwesterlies as it crosses Labrador.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port, Northeast
Coast, and Belle Isle Bank.
