Issued 3:00 AM ADT 24 October 2021 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today intensifying low 1002 mb located over
eastern Nova Scotia.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough from 988 mb low located over western
Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT today trough from 1002 mb low located from the
low to East Scotian Slope.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today departing trough from 987 mb low located
on a line north-south over the Grand Banks.

By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday low 985 mb located northeast of
Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:46 AM ADT 24 October 2021 An intensifying low over Eastern Nova Scotia with a trough extending
south to East Scotian Slope will move northeast today to lie over
Western Newfoundland this afternoon as the associated trough departs
into the Grand Banks. Strong southerly winds ahead of the system will
increase to strong to gale force westerly to northwesterly winds in
its wake.

Marine interest are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait, Gulf - Magdalen,
and Chaleur - Miscou - eastern half.
