Wind southerly 20 to 25 knots diminishing to southerly 15 to 20 near midnight then becoming northerly 15 to 20 Saturday morning. Wind increasing to northeasterly 35 Saturday afternoon and to easterly 40 to 50 Saturday evening with gusts to 75 in the Wreckhouse area.
Flurries changing to snow near noon Saturday then to rain and fog patches Saturday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in snow and in fog patches.
Temperatures minus 2 rising to plus 3 Saturday evening.
Strong wind warning program has ended for the season.

At 3:30 p.m. AST today quasi-stationary ridge located over Quebec.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:05 PM AST 28 January 2022 A developing low pressure system approaching from near Cape Hatteras
will intensify rapidly as it moves to lie over Browns Bank Saturday
evening. Gale to storm force northeasterlies are expected north of
the low with gale to storm force southerlies south of it.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters except for Chaleur - Miscou - western half. Freezing spray
warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan and all Gulf of St.
