By 8:00 p.m. AST Wednesday high 1031 mb located over western Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:07 PM AST 28 January 2020 A low pressure system just east of Cape Breton Island will slowly
weaken tonight. Gale force northerlies west of the low will
Gradually diminish. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are
Forecast for Wednesday night and Thursday over most waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northumberland Strait - western half, Gulf-Magdalen - western half
and Chaleur-Miscou - eastern half. Freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, eastern shore, Sable, Fourchu, Cabot
Strait, Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and
Anticosti.
