Issued 8:00 PM ADT 23 October 2021 Tonight and Sunday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough from 1010 mb low located on a line
north-south over West Scotian Slope.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Sunday trough from 1002 mb low located from Cape
Breton Island to East Scotian Slope.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday trough from 997 mb low located on a line
north-south over Laurentian Fan.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday departing trough from 987 mb low located
from Newfoundland to the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:42 PM ADT 23 October 2021 A developing low over Southwest Nova Scotia with a trough extending
south to Georges Bank will intensify as it tracks northeast to the
Cabot Strait early Sunday morning, and will then pass east of our
forecast waters Sunday afternoon. Strong westerly winds in the wake
of the system will reach gale force on Sunday over eastern Atlantic
waters and portions of the Gulf of St Lawrence.

Marine interest are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Sable, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait,
Northumberland Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, and Chaleur - Miscou -
eastern half.
