Issued 10:00 AM AST 22 November 2019 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. AST today ridge located over the western Marine
District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing ridge located over the eastern
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. AST today deepening trough located west of the Marine
District.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday trough located near Cape Breton Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:48 AM AST 22 November 2019 A deepening trough of low pressure will approach western waters
tonight and move to lie near the Cabot Strait Saturday morning. Winds
will increase to strong to gale force southerlies ahead of the trough
then shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
All waters except Fundy and Anticosti-eastern half.

Outlook for the start of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.

Sunday...Winds light increasing to easterly 25 to 35 knots late in
the day.
Monday...Winds westerly 25 to 35 knots diminishing to west 20
In the evening.
Tuesday...Winds westerly 10 to 15 knots.
