Issued 8:00 PM ADT 5 September 2026 Tonight and Sunday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight quasi-stationary low 997 mb located
over Banquereau.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:25 PM ADT 5 September 2026 A low pressure system currently over Banquereau is forecast to remain
stalled over the region tonight and Sunday.

Strong to gale force easterlies or northeasterlies are expected over
northern and eastern marine areas.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, Fourchu, Banquereau - northern half, Cabot
Strait, Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, and Anticosti -
southeastern half.
