Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:48 AM ADT 8 April 2020 An intense low pressure system will approach the marine district from
the west late Thursday and into Friday. Gale force winds will begin
over the western marine areas Thursday evening then spread over
remaining areas by Friday morning. Winds could potentially reach
storm force for some eastern and northern waters.

In addition, due to a series of abnormally high astronomical tides,
this system will bring higher than normal water levels and risk of
coastal flooding, especially to areas along the Bay of Fundy late
Thursday night or early Friday morning, and along Western Gulf of St
Lawrence coastline on Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank and Georges Bank.
