District.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Thursday ridge located southeast of the Marine
District.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough located over southern Ontario.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Thursday trough located from the Gaspe Peninsula
to New England.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT Thursday trough located from the Gulf of
St. Lawrence to the Gulf of Maine.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:53 AM ADT 21 August 2019 At 9 AM ADT this morning, tropical storm Chantal was located
Near 40.3 north 52.8 west. Maximum sustained winds were 35 knots.
Chantal was moving eastward at about 19 knots. The central pressure
of Chantal was 1010 MB. Chantal is forecast to remain a tropical
storm with maximum sustained winds of 35 knots.

Chantal is not expected to pose a threat to the marine district.
