Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:00 AM AST 15 February 2026 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. AST today departing ridge located over the southeastern
Marine District.

At 10:00 a.m. AST today low 1012 mb located over Nova Scotia.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Monday low 998 mb located over the eastern Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:42 AM AST 15 February 2026 A weak area of low pressure over Nova Scotia this morning will
intensify as it tracks eastward to lie over the eastern marine
district early Monday morning. Strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies are expected in the wake of this low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope, Banquereau, and Laurentian Fan.

      • Use the ↓ Down key to select the link below. If none are selected, it will select the last link.
      • Use the Page Up key to move a selection up in the list.
      • Use the Page Down key to move a selection down in the list.
  • Restore default list
