Issued 10:00 AM ADT 22 October 2019 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today weakening low 1010 mb located south of
Georges Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight dissipating low 1012 mb located southwest
of the Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight intensifying trough located on a line
north-south over New England.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday trough located on a line north-south
over the Maritimes.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located from Quebec to the Grand
Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday departing ridge located over
Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:46 AM ADT 22 October 2019 A weakening low pressure system south of Georges Bank will move
slowly northwestward today and then be absorbed by a trough of low
pressure approaching from the west tonight. The trough will track
eastward across the marine district on Wednesday.

Strong easterlies north of the first system will spread northward
over western marine regions today. Strong to gale force southeasterly
winds will continue to spread eastward over much of the marine
district on Wednesday ahead of the trough, shifting to strong
westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Fundy, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope,
Banquereau, and Laurentian Fan.
