Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 8:00 PM AST 7 December 2023 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight quasi-stationary high 1019 mb located
over Quebec.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight deepening low 950 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Friday low 940 mb located northeast of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:22 PM AST 7 December 2023 A low pressure system east of the Grand Banks will continue to deepen
as it tracks north-northeast tonight and Friday. Gale force
northwesterlies will develop over eastern waters tonight and Friday
in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, and
Anticosti.

      • Use the ↑ Up key to select the link above. If none are selected, it will select the first link.
      • Use the ↓ Down key to select the link below. If none are selected, it will select the last link.
      • Use the Page Up key to move a selection up in the list.
      • Use the Page Down key to move a selection down in the list.
  • Restore default list
