Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 8:00 PM ADT 22 April 2026 Tonight and Thursday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1002 mb located near the Avalon
Peninsula.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Thursday low 1000 mb located north of
Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located from Anticosti Island to
West Scotian Slope.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Thursday ridge located from Anticosti Island to
East Scotian Slope.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday approaching low 991 mb located south of
Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:24 PM ADT 22 April 2026 Late on Thursday, a low pressure system will intensify and approach
southeastern waters. Strong to possibly gale force northeasterlies
are likely to develop over Laurentian Fan Thursday night.

      • Use the ↑ Up key to select the link above. If none are selected, it will select the first link.
      • Use the ↓ Down key to select the link below. If none are selected, it will select the last link.
      • Use the Page Up key to move a selection up in the list.
      • Use the Page Down key to move a selection down in the list.
  • Restore default list
