Wind easterly 20 knots increasing to northeast 35 to 45 near noon and to north 45 to 55 early this evening. Wind diminishing to north 30 to 40 early Monday morning and to north 25 to 30 Monday afternoon.

Showers and fog patches changing to rain near noon with a risk of thunderstorms then to showers this evening and ending overnight.

south of Laurentian Fan.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday Post-tropical Storm Odette 990 mb located
east of Laurentian Fan.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located over southern Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday approaching ridge located from New England
to Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:49 AM ADT 19 September 2021 Post-tropical storm Odette is currently just southeast of East
Scotian Slope and is forecast to track northeastward across
Laurentian Fan this afternoon and over the Grand Banks tonight.
Gale to storm force easterly winds ahead of Odette will shift to gale
to storm force northerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Sable - eastern half, East Scotian Slope - eastern half, Banquereau -
southeastern half, and Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in effect
for eastern shore, Sable - western half, East Scotian Slope - western
half, Fourchu, Banquereau - northwestern half, and Cabot Strait.
