Issued 10:00 AM AST 25 January 2022 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. AST today departing ridge located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

At 10:00 a.m. AST today low 1010 mb located over the Gulf of Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 1004 mb located near Anticosti Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:54 AM AST 25 January 2022 An intensifying low pressure system currently over the Gulf of Maine
will move though the Bay of Fundy later today and into the Gulf of St
Lawrence tonight. Strong to gale force southerly winds ahead of the
low will become strong northwesterlies behind it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait.

A freezing spray warning is in effect for Anticosti.
