Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:54 AM AST 25 January 2022 An intensifying low pressure system currently over the Gulf of Maine
will move though the Bay of Fundy later today and into the Gulf of St
Lawrence tonight. Strong to gale force southerly winds ahead of the
low will become strong northwesterlies behind it.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait.
A freezing spray warning is in effect for Anticosti.
