Issued 3:21 PM ADT 30 April 2025 A low pressure system over Anticosti Island will track east tonightto lie over Eastern Newfoundland by Thursday afternoon. Strong to
gale force southwesterlies ahead of the low shift to strong to storm
force northwesterlies behind it. Winds will gradually diminish on
Thursday as high pressure builds in.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half and Anticosti - southwestern half.
Gale warnings are in effect for Banquereau, Laurentian Fan -
northeastern half, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen - southwestern half,
