Issued 3:30 PM ADT 12 April 2021 Tonight and Tuesday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today intensifying low 999 mb located southeastof the Marine District.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Tuesday low 992 mb located over Laurentian Fan.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:18 PM ADT 12 April 2021 A low pressure system southeast of the marine district will intensifytonight and Tuesday and move into Laurentian Fan Tuesday afternoon.
Strong to gale force north to northeast winds north and west of the
low will prevail across much of the district. Winds are forecast to
reach storm force over Banquereau Tuesday afternoon as the low moves
into the district.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Banquereau. Gale warnings are in effect eastern shore - eastern half,
Sable - eastern half, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Laurentian Fan -
western half, Cabot Strait, Gulf Magdalen and Anticosti - eastern
half.
