By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 978 mb located over the Gaspe
Peninsula.
At 10:00 a.m. ADT today cold front from low located on a line
north-south over southwestern Nova Scotia.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today cold front from low located on a line
northwest-southeast over Banquereau.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT Friday weakening low 974 mb located near the
Gaspe Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday low 988 mb located near Anticosti Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:41 AM ADT 22 April 2021 An intensifying low pressure system over New Brunswick will move tolie north of the Gaspé Peninsula tonight. On Friday the low will
gradually weaken as it drifts towards Anticosti. A cold front
associated with this low will track across the marine district today.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead of the front will become
strong to gale force southwesterlies in its wake and will gradually
diminish on Friday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
