By 10:00 a.m. AST Sunday intensifying low 995 mb located near Port
aux Basques.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:53 PM AST 27 February 2021 A developing low pressure system over New England this evening willintensify as it tracks eastward across the marine district tonight
and Sunday. Strong to gale force southerly winds will develop ahead
of the low tonight, shifting to strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except for Northumberland Strait - western half, Gulf
Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
