By 3:30 p.m. ADT today departing low 994 mb located east of
Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
the western Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday ridge located over the eastern Marine
District.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT Friday approaching low 999 mb located over Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:51 AM ADT 1 May 2025 A low pressure system over Newfoundland will continue tracking
eastward today departing the region east of Newfoundland tonight.
Strong to gale force northwest winds over eastern waters will
gradually diminish as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan - northeastern half, Cabot Strait,
Northumberland Strait - eastern half, Gulf-Magdalen and Anticosti.
