Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 1004 mb located off Cape Cod.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Friday low 1009 mb located over Laurentian Fan.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Friday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:46 PM NDT 19 May 2022 A low pressure system will approach from the southwest on Friday and
cross the Southern Grand Banks Friday night into Saturday. Strong to
gale force easterlies will develop over the Southwestern Grand Banks
Friday afternoon ahead of the low.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Southwestern Grand Banks.
