Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:00 AM NST 5 March 2021 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 984 mb located over the Quebec Lower
North Shore.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 983 mb located over
western Labrador.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough located south of Laurentian Fan.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight dissipating trough located over the
northern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:57 AM NST 5 March 2021 Strong to gale force southwesterlies over the Gulf waters will
gradually diminish today as a low pressure system over the Quebec
Lower North Shore slowly tracks westwards and weakens.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Northeast Gulf.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Gulf waters.
