Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:49 PM NST 19 February 2020 A trough of low pressure east of Newfoundland will continue tracking
eastward tonight. Gale to storm force southerlies ahead of the trough
will shift to strong to gale force westerlies in its wake.
A second trough will sweep across the marine district on Thursday,
causing the strong to gale force westerlies to persist.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank the Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters except Strait of Belle Isle.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Strait of Belle Isle and Southeastern
