Coast.
At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 965 mb located southwest of the Grand
Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Sunday low 968 mb located east of the Marine
District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:52 AM NST 7 February 2026 Strong to gale force northwesterlies over northern waters willdiminish this morning as the low pressure system north of Belle Isle
Bank moves away.
A low pressure system southwest of the Grand Banks will move
northeastward to lie east of the marine district overnight. Gale to
storm force north to northeasterlies over southern waters will
gradually diminish to strong to gale force northerlies this evening.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
except Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and the Northeast Coast.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
