Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 10:00 AM NDT 18 July 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary low 996 mb located over
northern Labrador Coast.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 997 mb located over southern
Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Sunday low 987 mb located over Anticosti Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:31 AM NDT 18 July 2026 A low pressure system over Southern Ontario will deepen as it tracks
slowly eastwards to lie over the Gulf of St. Lawrence by Sunday
evening. Strong to gale force south to southeasterlies are expected
to develop over the district ahead of the low on Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf - Port au Port and Southwest Coast.
