By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday trough located southeast of Labrador Sea.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today Tropical Storm Odette 1005 mb located at
38.3N 68.7W.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Sunday Post-tropical Storm Odette 995 mb located
at 41.8N 61.0W.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located over the southern Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located east of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:54 AM NDT 18 September 2021 A trough of low pressure will move across northern waters later
today. Gale force southwesterly winds will continue ahead of the
trough before diminishing overnight into Sunday in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
South Coast. Gale warnings are in effect for Strait of Belle Isle,
Southwest Coast, East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and the Southern Grand
Banks.

At 10:00 AM NDT, tropical storm Odette is located at 38.3 north 68.7
west, or 188 nautical miles south-southeast of Nantucket, with a
minimum central pressure of 1005 MB. Maximum sustained winds are 40
knots and Odette is moving northeast at 13 knots. Odette is expected
to enter Canadian waters on Sunday with gale to storm force winds
expected over southern waters Sunday and Monday.
