Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:30 PM NST 20 November 2019 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 992 mb located east of Funk Island Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing low 991 mb located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 996 mb located southwest of Sable Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Thursday low 990 mb located over Banquereau.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:18 PM NST 20 November 2019 A low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will move eastward
away from the district tonight. Strong to gale force north to
westerly winds behind the low will diminish this evening as it moves
away.

Another low pressure system southwest of Sable Island will track
northeastward to approach the Grand Banks by Thursday evening. Strong
to gale force east to northeasterlies will develop over most of the
district ahead of this feature.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Funk Island Bank, Northern
Grand Banks and Southwestern Grand Banks.
