At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough from low located on a line
northwest-southeast over Cape Breton Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday trough from low located on a line
northwest-southeast over southern Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:28 PM NDT 22 April 2021 An approaching low pressure system will stall over the Gaspé
Peninsula tonight before gradually drifting east along the Quebec
Lower North Shore Friday night and Saturday. Strong to gale force
southeasterly winds will spread across all waters tonight ahead of a
trough associated with this low. Winds will shift to strong to gale
force south to southwesterly behind the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
