Issued 3:30 PM NDT 6 September 2026 Tonight and Monday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 996 mb located over Banquereau.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Monday low 999 mb located over eastern
Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:21 PM NDT 6 September 2026 A low pressure system over Banquereau will remain nearly stationary
tonight and begin tracking northeastward across Newfoundland on
Monday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies to northeasterlies are
expected to continue across most waters as a result.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, South Coast,
Belle Isle Bank, and the Southern Grand Banks.
