At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located from Greenland to the
Southwest Coast of Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Friday ridge located on a line north-south over
the eastern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:55 PM NDT 3 October 2024 A low pressure system east of the marine district will continue to
track eastwards and out to sea tonight. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies over eastern waters will diminish to strong by
midnight tonight as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Northern Grand Banks.
