Issued 2:57 AM NST 10 February 2026 A low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will remain nearlystationary throughout the forecast period. Strong to gale force
northeasterlies to northwesterlies are expected over eastern waters
as a result of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, East Coast, Northeast Coast,
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks.
