Issued 10:00 AM NDT 14 May 2026 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today low 988 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing low 991 mb located southeast of
Labrador Sea.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT Friday approaching low 998 mb located south of
Nova Scotia.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Cape Breton Island.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday departing ridge located over the Grand
Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:56 AM NDT 14 May 2026 A low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will depart to the east
this afternoon. Strong to gale force westerlies will diminish today
as the low departs.

A second low pressure system will approach from the southwest on
Friday. Strong to gale force easterlies will develop over southern
waters ahead of the low on Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, East Coast - north
of Cape St. Francis, and Northeast Coast.
