Issued 10:00 AM NST 5 December 2021 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 953 mb located north of Labrador Sea.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday low 963 mb located over Davis Strait.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today weakening ridge located northeast of
Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 1019 mb located southwest of the
Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing low 1018 mb located east of
the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:54 AM NST 5 December 2021 An intense low pressure system north of the Labrador Sea will move
northward over the Davis Strait today. Westerly gales will diminish
in its wake.

On Monday a trough of low pressure will approach the district from
the west. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop ahead of
the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle and Belle Isle Bank.
