Issued 10:00 AM NDT 27 October 2020 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today intensifying low 1009 mb located over
Cabot Strait.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday departing low 992 mb located east of
Funk Island Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the East Coast of Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight dissipating ridge located over Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:44 AM NDT 27 October 2020 An intensifying low pressure system over Cabot Strait this morning
will cross Southern Newfoundland this afternoon before moving east of
the district tonight. Gale force southwesterlies can be expected to
the south of the low today into this evening as it passes.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast - Cape St Francis and south, and the Grand
Banks.
