Issued 8:00 PM NDT 18 March 2024 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located from Anticosti Island to
the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:54 PM NDT 18 March 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland
will pivot to lie over Belle Isle Bank overnight tonight. Strong to
gale force southeasterlies over eastern waters will diminish to
strong southwesterlies as it moves northward.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and Southeastern Grand Banks.
