At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight intensifying low 1001 mb located north
of Nova Scotia.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Sunday low 987 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:56 PM NDT 10 May 2025 A low pressure system will approach from the Maritimes overnighttonight and track northeastward to lie over Belle Isle Bank on Sunday
afternoon. Strong to gale force northerly to northwesterly winds will
develop north of the low on Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and South
Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Northwest Labrador Sea.
