of Greenland.
At 9:30 a.m. NST today departing trough from low located south of
the East Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Thursday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:28 AM NST 14 January 2026 A low pressure system southeast of Greenland will continue trackingeastward away from the marine district today. A trough extending from
the low south of the East Labrador Sea will also move southeastward
away from the area with the low. Strong to gale force northwesterlies
will diminish today as these systems departs.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water except East Labrador Sea.
