Issued 9:30 PM NDT 27 September 2023 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight low 1001 mb located east of the EastLabrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Thursday departing low 998 mb located southeast
of the Marine District.
At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight trough from 1001 mb low located over Funk
Island Bank.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Thursday departing trough from 997 mb low located
over the northern Grand Banks.
At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary high located over
southern Quebec.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:27 PM NDT 27 September 2023 A low pressure system just east of the East Labrador Sea willcontinue to track southeastwards this evening. Meanwhile, an area of
high pressure remains stationary over Quebec. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies between these two features will diminish to moderate
to strong northwesterlies on Thursday morning as the low tracks well
southeast of the district.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and South Labrador Sea.
