Issued 4:00 AM NDT 2 April 2023 Today Tonight and Monday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today low 983 mb located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Monday low 982 mb located over southeastern
Labrador.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today weakening ridge located over the East
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:50 AM NDT 2 April 2023 An intense low pressure system over the Gulf of St. Lawrence will
move over Southeastern Labrador tonight and into the Labrador Sea on
Monday. Strong to gale force east to northeasterlies will develop
over all waters ahead of this system before shifting to strong to
gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and North Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Northwest Labrador Sea.
