Funk Island Bank.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Thursday trough located on a line north-south
over Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
north-south over the Torngat Mountains.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:24 AM NDT 22 April 2026 A trough of low pressure is forecast to approach the district fromthe southeast this evening and move to lie along the Labrador coast
on Thursday afternoon. Strong to gale force northerlies will develop
to the west of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast and North Labrador Coast.
